For pumps where the axial thrust is minimal, these components—wear rings and balance holes—are strategically omitted from the rear, ensuring optimized design and function tailored to specific needs.

2) "Barrier or Buffer" System for Dual Seals: This innovative system supplies a secondary fluid between dual mechanical seals, preventing ambient air from contaminating the pumped fluid, enhancing seal cooling, and significantly boosting safety measures.
Notably, a special external flush arrangement is not a universal requirement for all mechanical seals, offering flexibility and simplification in certain applications.
