Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, a paragon of engineering excellence standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This dynamic pump finds its niche across a plethora of industries, including the industrial and marine sectors. Specifically engineered to handle low viscosity, clean, or slightly contaminated fluids, it operates seamlessly without the presence of solid or fibrous materials. The pump excels in moving fluids such as fresh water, sea water, and fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Discover its diverse applications: from fuel transfer, chemical processing, and energy plants to mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and various marine uses.
Experience the sheer power and robust construction of this large, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump. Designed for applications requiring high flow and pressure, it stands as a testament to reliability and performance.
Discover the unparalleled advantages of the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, offering unmatched efficiency and operational benefits.
Maintenance becomes a breeze with the long coupled configuration, allowing easy access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Built for endurance, this process pump is engineered for continuous operation. Additional bearings in the pump head significantly reduce motor strain, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
The innovative back pull out design enables motor removal while keeping the pump attached to the pipework, resulting in significant time savings during maintenance or servicing.
With independent shafts for the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement if damaged, a feature not available in less robust competitors, which necessitate replacing the entire motor shaft.
The long coupled design ensures ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from potential fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps stand apart with the incorporation of renowned brand bearings. These bearings ensure the pumps have an extended service life, even when operating in the most challenging environments, promising reliability and durability.
To expertly manage axial thrust, most impellers are equipped with strategically placed wear rings both at the front and back, alongside a balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. In instances where the axial thrust is minimal, some pumps are ingeniously designed without the need for a rear wear ring and balance hole.
Precision-engineered casting impellers guarantee top performance. Available in high-quality materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, they elevate the pump's operational excellence.
We offer two principal configurations:
1) "Flush" - This involves the injection of a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber to create an optimal operational environment. An additional smaller port, usually positioned downward, serves as a means for leakage observation or venting.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" systems with dual seals - A supplementary fluid is introduced between two sets of mechanical seals. This setup prevents ambient air from mingling with the pumped fluid, enhances seal cooling, and importantly, improves safety.
It's important to note that many mechanical seals operate efficiently without the need for special external flush systems.
Dynamic Flexible Couplings
Unlike their rigid counterparts, flexible couplings are adept at accommodating movement, such as vibrations and thermal expansion, without sustaining damage. They are perfect for situations involving inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations not only protects components but also reduces noise levels during operation. While they feature an intricate and costlier design, their ability to safeguard shafts and bearings from damage and premature wear results in significant maintenance savings over time.
Semhai's API standard chemical pumps proudly utilize API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings offer reduced reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, thus enhancing the entire pump's power transmission efficiency and effectiveness.
