Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, a masterpiece crafted for the industrial and marine markets. Adhering to the esteemed standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858, this versatile powerhouse is engineered for a multitude of applications. It expertly handles low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, absent of solid or fibrous materials. Whether it's fresh water, seawater, or fuel types like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump stands ready. Its diverse utilization spans fuel transfer, chemical processes, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water, dewatering, and marine operations.
Experience the might of a large, heavy duty centrifugal chemical process pump designed for supreme performance. With high flow and high pressure capabilities, it is built for demanding applications.
Discover the multitude of advantages offered by the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design.
Thanks to its long coupled configuration, maintaining this pump is a breeze. Gain hassle-free access to the pump head without the need to remove the motor, simplifying maintenance.
Built for resilience, this robust pump is engineered for continuous use. Extra bearings in the pump head significantly reduce motor strain during operation, ensuring longevity and reliability.
The innovative back pull out design allows seamless motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework. This feature is a time-saver during service and maintenance procedures.
With independent shafts for the pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement if broken. Unlike less robust designs relying solely on motor shafts, this configuration prevents the need for entire motor replacement in case of a shaft failure.
The strategic long coupled design provides ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of seal failure.

Our centrifugal pumps, including our chemical pumps, proudly incorporate renowned brand bearings, ensuring superior durability. These bearings contribute to an extended service life, even under demanding operational conditions.
To expertly manage axial thrust, our pumps feature dual wear rings both at the front and rear of the impeller, accompanied by a balance hole strategically located on the back shroud. In certain models where axial thrust is minimal, the design is optimized to exclude the rear wear ring and balance hole.
Our precision-crafted impellers promise exceptional performance and are available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze.
We classify them into two principal categories:
1) "Flush" - This method delivers a stream of clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, optimizing the operational environment. A secondary, smaller downward-facing port often functions as a leak observation point or vent.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - This technique introduces a secondary fluid between two mechanical seals, preventing ambient air intrusion and enhancing cooling and safety.
It's important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush systems.
Flexible couplings
In contrast to rigid alternatives, flexible couplings adeptly accommodate slight movements, such as vibrations and thermal expansions, safeguarding against damage. They are ideal for scenarios with minor misalignment between drive and pump shafts, and their vibration-absorbing qualities significantly reduce operational noise. Though they entail a more intricate and costly design, their ability to protect shafts and bearings translates into long-term maintenance savings.
Semhai API standard chemical pumps are engineered with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
Our couplings deliver reduced reaction loads paired with superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, significantly boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire pump power transmission system.
