To meticulously counteract axial thrust, most impellers are equipped with wear rings both at the front and back, complemented by a balance hole on the rear shroud. In cases where axial thrust is minimal, the innovative design eliminates the need for a rear wear ring and balance hole.

Our offerings are categorized into two primary groups:
1) "Flush" - This method injects clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. An additional smaller port, typically oriented downward, serves as a leakage observation point or vent, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - A secondary fluid is introduced between dual mechanical seals, preventing ambient air from contacting the liquid being pumped. This setup not only improves seal cooling but also enhances overall safety.

Flexible Couplings
