Introducing the SLZ end-suction, long-coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump, masterfully engineered to adhere to EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards. Versatile and reliable, this pump is impeccably designed for an array of applications across industrial and marine markets. It seamlessly handles low-viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, effortlessly managing fresh water, seawater, and fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its adaptability shines in diverse settings, from fuel transfer and chemical processing to energy plants, mining operations, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization systems, grey water management, dewatering, and marine applications.
This formidable centrifugal chemical process pump is crafted for demanding environments, offering high flow and high pressure capabilities. Its heavy-duty design ensures optimal performance and durability, even under the most challenging conditions.
The long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design boasts numerous advantages, offering superior performance and ease of maintenance.
Experience effortless maintenance with the long-coupled configuration, which allows direct access to the pump head without the hassle of removing the motor, enhancing operational efficiency.
This robust process pump is engineered for continuous use, featuring additional bearings strategically placed in the pump head. These bearings alleviate significant strain on the motor during operation, ensuring longevity and reliability.
The innovative back pull-out design enables the motor to be removed while the pump remains connected to the pipework, significantly reducing downtime during servicing or maintenance.
This centrifugal chemical process pump and motor feature independent shafts, meaning that only the pump shaft requires replacement in the event of breakage. Unlike less robust alternatives, which necessitate full motor replacement, this design offers a more economical solution.
The strategic long-coupled design creates ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in case of a seal failure, thus enhancing the durability and reliability of the system.

Renowned Brand Bearings are expertly integrated into our centrifugal and chemical pumps, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability even in the most challenging environments. Experience longevity with our pumps that consistently deliver outstanding performance.
To precisely balance axial thrust, our design incorporates both front and rear wear rings on the majority of impellers, complemented by a strategically placed balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. In pumps where axial thrust remains minimal, we ingeniously eliminate the need for both rear wear rings and balance holes, optimizing efficiency.
Our precision-crafted, high-quality casting impellers are designed to deliver optimal performance, available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze to meet diverse application needs.
We categorize into two primary groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique involves injecting a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, significantly enhancing the operating environment. A secondary, smaller port, typically oriented downward, serves as an observation point for potential leakage or as a vent opening, ensuring comprehensive monitoring.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" designed for dual seals - In this method, a secondary fluid is meticulously supplied to the space between two mechanical seals. This prevents ambient air from interfacing with the pumped fluid, dramatically improves seal cooling, and enhances overall safety measures.
Notably, it's important to recognize that not all mechanical seals demand specialized external flush arrangements.
Versatile Flexible Couplings
In contrast to rigid couplings, flexible couplings offer remarkable versatility by accommodating movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without incurring damage. This makes them indispensable for scenarios involving unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations not only reduces operating noise but also provides substantial maintenance savings by safeguarding shafts and bearings from premature wear, despite the initially more intricate and costly design.
Semhai's innovative API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
Our couplings boast lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, thereby enhancing both the efficiency and effectiveness of comprehensive pump power transmission.
