Introducing the versatile SLZ end suction pump: a long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. A true workhorse in both industrial and marine settings, this pump excels in handling low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, safeguarding against solid or fibrous contaminants. Seamlessly pump fluids like fresh water, sea water, and a range of fuels including diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its diverse applications span across fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurisation, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Presenting a powerhouse in the realm of centrifugal chemical process pumps, this robust machine boasts exceptional high flow and high pressure capabilities, perfect for tackling the most demanding industrial tasks.
Discover the myriad advantages of our innovative long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, crafted for efficiency and reliability.
Ease of maintenance is a hallmark of our long coupled configuration, allowing effortless access to the pump head without the tedious task of removing the motor.
Built to endure, this process pump is engineered for unwavering continuous use. With additional bearings installed in the pump head, it remarkably minimizes strain on the motor, ensuring enhanced longevity.
The ingenious back pull out design revolutionizes maintenance—effortlessly remove the motor while the pump remains connected to the pipework, significantly reducing downtime during service operations.
Featuring independent shafts for both pump and motor, our centrifugal chemical process pump guarantees that only the pump shaft requires replacement if broken. Many competitors use the motor shaft, leading to costly motor replacements upon shaft failure.
The spacious long coupled design strategically positions a large gap between pump and motor, providing superior protection against fluid ingress in the unlikely event of a seal failure.

Our centrifugal pumps and chemical pumps take advantage of renowned brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability and longevity even in the most challenging operational conditions. Experience extended service life for your equipment, enhancing reliability and performance across the board.
To expertly balance axial thrust, most impellers feature precision-engineered wear rings both at the front and rear, complemented by a strategically placed balance hole on the back shroud. In certain cases where axial thrust is minimal, these components may not be necessary, ensuring a streamlined and efficient design.
Crafted with high-precision casting, our impellers promise superior performance and reliability. Available in materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, they are designed to meet the highest standards of excellence and durability.
Our products are generally categorized into two main groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique introduces clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, optimizing the operational environment. A secondary, often downward-oriented port serves as a convenient leakage observation point or vent, enhancing functionality and maintenance.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - A secondary fluid is introduced between two mechanical seals, effectively preventing ambient air contact with the pumped fluid. This method not only improves seal cooling but also significantly enhances safety.
It's important to note that not every mechanical seal mandates a specialized external flush setup, offering flexibility in design and application.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings stand out for their ability to accommodate movement such as vibrations and thermal expansion, unlike their rigid counterparts. Ideal for scenarios with inherent misalignment between drive and pump shafts, these couplings effectively absorb vibrations, minimizing operating noise. While they boast a more intricate, costlier design, the maintenance savings due to reduced damage and wear to shafts and bearings make them a valuable investment.
Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, setting a benchmark in quality and performance.
These couplings offer reduced reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire pump power transmission system.
