Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, a pinnacle of engineering standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This versatile powerhouse is perfectly suited for an expansive range of applications within both the industrial and marine markets. Whether you need to pump low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids—sans solid or fibrous particles—our pump delivers with precision. Seamlessly handle fluids such as fresh water, sea water, diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its versatile applications span fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine endeavors.
Harness the strength of a large, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, designed to excel with high flow and high pressure capabilities to meet the rigorous demands of your operations.
Experience the multitude of benefits with our long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, crafted for top-tier performance.
Maintenance has never been easier with the long coupled configuration, allowing direct access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Engineered for robustness and continuous use, this process pump is outfitted with additional bearings in the pump head to significantly reduce motor strain during operation, ensuring longevity and reliability.
Our innovative back pull-out design permits motor removal while the pump remains connected to the pipework, drastically reducing downtime during maintenance and service operations.
Featuring independent shafts for both pump and motor, our design ensures that only the pump shaft needs replacement if broken. This stands in stark contrast to less robust options that necessitate complete motor replacement upon shaft failure.
The long coupled design provides generous spacing between pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, enhancing durability and reliability.

Our renowned centrifugal and chemical pumps are equipped with top-tier bearings from globally recognized brands. These premium bearings enable our pumps to operate longer in even the most challenging environments, ensuring enduring performance and robustness.
To expertly manage axial thrust, our pumps feature wear rings strategically placed at both the front and rear of the impeller, complemented by a balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. For certain models where axial thrust is minimal, these components may be absent to optimize performance and efficiency.
Our high-precision casting impellers promise impeccable performance, crafted from top-quality materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, ensuring durability and reliability across diverse applications.
Our advanced sealing systems generally categorize into two predominant groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique involves injecting a clean, cool liquid directly into the seal chamber, significantly enhancing the operational environment. An additional secondary port, typically downward facing, serves as a vent or leakage observation point.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - Here, a secondary fluid is introduced between two sets of mechanical seals, effectively preventing ambient air contact with the pumped fluid. This approach not only elevates seal cooling but also substantially boosts safety.
Importantly, not all mechanical seals necessitate external flush systems, offering flexibility in design and operation.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, can adeptly accommodate movements such as vibrations and thermal expansions without incurring damage. Perfect for situations with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts, they also excel in reducing excessive noise. Although they feature a more intricate and costly design, the long-term maintenance savings from protecting shafts and bearings against damage and premature wear make them a worthwhile investment.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps incorporate API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, epitomizing industry excellence.
Engineered for superior performance, these couplings exhibit reduced reaction loads and advanced balancing quality, significantly enhancing the pump's power transmission efficiency and overall effectiveness.
