Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump, meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This versatile powerhouse is crafted for a plethora of applications spanning the industrial and marine arenas. Its design excels in handling low viscosity fluids, whether pristine or slightly adulterated, provided they are devoid of solid or fibrous impurities. It effortlessly channels liquids such as fresh water, sea water, and various fuels—including diesel, petrol, and kerosene—making it an indispensable asset for fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plant operations, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine services.
Unveiling a robust and high-performance centrifugal chemical process pump, engineered for large-scale operations with its formidable high flow and pressure capabilities.
Discover the manifold benefits of our ingeniously crafted long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design.
The long coupled configuration shines with its maintenance-friendly design, allowing effortless access to the pump head without necessitating motor removal.
Engineered for relentless operation, this process pump boasts exceptional durability. The inclusion of auxiliary bearings within the pump head significantly alleviates motor stress during use, ensuring longevity and reliability.
Thanks to the back pull out design, the motor can be conveniently detached while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, optimizing time efficiency during service or maintenance.
Our centrifugal chemical process pump features independently functioning shafts for both the pump and motor. In the rare event of a pump shaft breakage, only the shaft requires replacement, unlike other models where a motor shaft failure necessitates replacing the entire motor.
The innovative long coupled design creates a generous gap between pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid intrusion in case of seal malfunction.

Renowned for their excellence, our centrifugal and chemical pumps boast the integration of famous brand bearings, ensuring a robust and enduring performance. Even amidst the harshest working conditions, the longevity of our pumps stands as a testament to our commitment to quality and durability.
Our advanced design incorporates wear rings both at the front and rear of most impellers, complemented by a strategically placed balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. This configuration is engineered to balance axial thrust with precision. However, in scenarios where the axial thrust is minimal, the design cleverly omits the rear wear ring and balance hole, optimizing efficiency.
Crafted with high-precision, the casting impellers within our pumps guarantee superior performance. Available in materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, they offer versatile solutions tailored to diverse operational needs.
Our mechanical seals are categorized into two primary groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique involves injecting a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber to create an optimal operating environment. A secondary, typically downward-oriented port often serves as a leakage observation or vent opening, enhancing safety and monitoring.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" - Employed with dual seals, this method introduces a secondary fluid between two mechanical seals. This prevents ambient air from contacting the pumped fluid, thereby improving cooling, enhancing safety, and maintaining the integrity of the seal.
It's noteworthy that not every mechanical seal demands special external flush arrangements, making them adaptable to various system requirements.
Flexible Couplings
In contrast to their rigid counterparts, flexible couplings are engineered to absorb movements such as vibrations and thermal expansions without causing damage. This flexibility makes them ideal for applications with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Furthermore, their ability to mitigate vibrations contributes to reduced operational noise. Although they present a more complex and costly design, the long-term maintenance savings, due to protection against shaft and bearing damage, are substantial.
Semhai API standard chemical pumps integrate API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, setting a benchmark in reliability and performance.
These couplings deliver lower reaction loads and boast superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, resulting in enhanced efficiency and effectiveness across the entire pump power transmission system.
