Introducing the remarkable SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. Designed for versatility, this pump excels across a myriad of applications in both industrial and marine landscapes. Its engineering marvel allows it to handle low viscosity fluids, whether pristine or slightly contaminated, effortlessly. It is particularly adept at managing fluids devoid of solid or fibrous matter. Imagine it seamlessly transferring fresh water, sea water, and fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. This pump finds its prowess in diverse applications, including fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining operations, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Behold a robust and colossal centrifugal chemical process pump, crafted for high flow and high-pressure demands, making it an indispensable tool for heavy-duty applications.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers a multitude of unparalleled advantages.
Experience the convenience of maintenance with the long coupled configuration. Effortlessly access the pump head without the need to remove the motor, simplifying upkeep.
Engineered for durability, this process pump is built for continuous operation. The incorporation of additional bearings in the pump head significantly eases the load on the motor during operation.
Thanks to the innovative back pull out design, the motor can be detached while keeping the pump linked to the pipework. This clever feature translates to significant time savings during service and maintenance.
With independent shafts for the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement in the event of a malfunction. In contrast, less robust market alternatives employ a single motor shaft, necessitating entire motor replacement if the shaft fails.
The generous spacing between the pump and motor within the long coupled design safeguards the motor from fluid ingress, even in the unfortunate event of a seal failure.

Our centrifugal pumps and chemical pumps proudly feature renowned brand Bearings, ensuring unparalleled reliability. These bearings are perfect for extending the service life of our pumps, even when faced with the most challenging working conditions.
To adeptly balance axial thrust, many impellers come equipped with strategically placed wear rings at both the front and back, complemented by a balance hole on the back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, there's no need for a rear wear ring or balance hole, showcasing our tailored engineering approach.
Crafted with high-precision casting, our impellers promise optimal performance. Choose from robust materials like cast iron, stainless steel, or bronze to meet specific application needs.
Our seal systems can be categorized into two principal groups:
1) "Flush" - A pristine, cool liquid is introduced into the seal chamber, enhancing its operational environment. The secondary port, typically positioned downward, serves dual purposes as a leakage observation or vent outlet.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seal setups - A secondary fluid is introduced into the gap between two mechanical seals, thereby preventing ambient air intrusion, enhancing cooling, and bolstering safety measures.
It’s important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate distinctive external flush arrangements.
Innovative Flexible Couplings
Flexible couplings surpass rigid ones by accommodating movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without damage. Ideal for scenarios with potential misalignment between drive and pump shafts, they effectively reduce operational noise through vibration absorption. While their intricate design may incur higher upfront costs, the long-term savings in maintenance due to protection against shaft and bearing wear are substantial.
Semhai's API standard chemical pumps proudly incorporate API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings offer superior balancing quality with reduced reaction loads, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of entire pump power transmissions.
