Introducing the SLZ end suction pump, a long coupled single-stage centrifugal chemical process marvel, meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. Crafted for versatility, it finds its purpose across industrial and marine markets, adept at handling low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, devoid of fibrous or solid impurities. Whether you're dealing with fresh water, sea water, or fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump excels in applications such as fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Behold a robust and mighty centrifugal chemical process pump, designed for heavy-duty performance with exceptional high flow and pressure capabilities.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers a plethora of advantages that enhance efficiency and reliability.
With its long coupled configuration, maintenance becomes a breeze, allowing easy access to the pump head without the need to remove the motor.
Engineered for resilience, this process pump boasts continuous operation prowess, thanks to additional bearings embedded in the pump head, effectively alleviating motor strain during operation.
Featuring a back pull out design, the pump allows the motor to be detached while remaining connected to the pipework, significantly reducing service and maintenance time.
Engineered with independent centrifugal chemical process pump and motor shafts, only the pump shaft requires replacement in case of failure, a marked upgrade over less robust models that necessitate complete motor replacement if the shaft breaks.
The innovative long coupled design places a generous space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid intrusion should a seal fail.

Our centrifugal pumps and chemical pumps proudly incorporate renowned brand bearings, ensuring supreme reliability and extended service life, even under the most challenging conditions.
To expertly manage axial thrust, our pumps feature strategically placed wear rings both at the front and rear of the impeller, complemented by a balance hole on the back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, these additional components may be absent, ensuring efficient performance.
Crafted with precision, our casting impellers are available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, guaranteeing optimal performance.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - A pure, cool liquid is introduced into the seal chamber to enhance the operating environment. A secondary, smaller port, usually positioned downward, is often used for observing leakage or as a vent.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - Secondary fluid is introduced into the space between two mechanical seal sets, preventing ambient air from interacting with the pumped fluid, optimizing seal cooling, and boosting safety.
It's important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate specific external flush arrangements.
Flexible Couplings
Flexible couplings offer superior adaptability to slight movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion, unlike rigid couplings. Ideal for situations with inevitable misalignment between the drive and pump shafts, they effectively absorb vibrations, reducing operational noise. While their design is more intricate and costly, they provide long-term maintenance savings by safeguarding the shaft and bearings from damage and premature wear.
Semhai's API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings deliver lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, significantly boosting the entire pump's power transmission efficiency and effectiveness.
