Discover the SLZ end suction, long-coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump, expertly standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. Engineered for ultimate versatility, it serves a broad spectrum of applications across industrial and marine markets. This state-of-the-art pump handles low viscosity, clean or subtly contaminated fluids effortlessly, absent of solid or fibrous particles. Ideal for pumping fresh water, sea water, and fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, it shines in tasks such as fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plant operations, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, treatment, pressurization, greywater management, dewatering, and marine applications.
Introducing a formidable force in fluid dynamics: a substantial, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, renowned for its remarkable high flow and pressure capabilities.
The long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design unveils a multitude of advantages that elevate its performance.
Maintenance made simple: the long-coupled configuration allows seamless access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Built for endurance, this process pump integrates additional bearings in the pump head, significantly reducing motor strain and ensuring continuous, robust operation.
Experience the efficiency of the back pull-out design, which permits motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, slashing downtime during servicing and maintenance.
Independence in design: the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor boast separate shafts, ensuring that only the pump shaft needs replacement if compromised, unlike less robust models that would necessitate full motor replacement.
The long-coupled design strategically creates ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress should a seal failure occur.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are engineered using renowned brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability. Experience prolonged service life even in the toughest environments with our meticulously crafted centrifugal pumps.
To expertly balance axial thrust, our pumps feature wear rings positioned both in front and behind most impellers, alongside a strategically placed balance hole on the back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, these components may be omitted, ensuring optimal performance.
Precision is at the heart of our pump design. Our high-precision casting impellers guarantee unparalleled performance, available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze.
Typically, there are two principal categories:
1) "Flush" - A pure, cool liquid is directed into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. An additional, smaller port usually oriented downward, serves as a leakage observation point or vent opening.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - A secondary fluid is introduced between the mechanical seals, safeguarding against ambient air intrusion, boosting seal cooling, and elevating safety measures.
It's noteworthy that not all mechanical seals demand specialized external flush systems.
Flexible couplings
In contrast to rigid couplings, flexible couplings adeptly handle movement such as vibrations and thermal expansion, making them perfect for scenarios with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations not only minimizes noise but also protects shafts and bearings from damage, reducing maintenance costs over time despite their intricate, costlier design.
Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings offer superior balancing quality and reduced reaction loads compared to typical couplings, significantly enhancing the pump's power transmission efficiency and effectiveness.
