To expertly manage axial thrust, our design includes dual wear rings located both at the front and rear of the impeller. Furthermore, a precision-engineered balance hole is positioned on the impeller's back shroud. In certain models, where axial thrust is naturally minimized, the design is simplified by omitting the rear wear ring and balance hole.
The impeller, crafted with high-precision casting techniques, is a keystone of our performance assurance. Available in materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, it guarantees robustness and reliability.
Our systems are categorized into two essential groups:
1) "Flush" - A meticulously controlled stream of clean, cool liquid is introduced into the seal chamber, optimizing the operational environment. An auxiliary port, strategically placed downwards, serves dual purposes as an observation point for leakage and as a vent.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - This method involves introducing a secondary fluid into the interspace between two mechanical seals. This prevents ambient air from interacting with the fluid being pumped, enhances seal cooling, and significantly elevates safety measures.
It's important to highlight that not every mechanical seal necessitates specialized external flush systems.
Flexible couplings
In contrast to rigid counterparts, flexible couplings are adept at accommodating movement such as vibrations and thermal expansion. This adaptability is crucial in scenarios with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations also contributes to noise reduction, albeit in a more sophisticated and costly design.
