Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, perfectly engineered to meet EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards. This versatile pump caters to a broad spectrum of applications across industrial and marine sectors. Designed for reliability, it effortlessly handles low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, making it ideal for pumping fresh water, sea water, and fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Experience seamless operations in fuel transfer, chemical processes, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine-related activities.
Behold a robust and powerful centrifugal chemical process pump designed for demanding tasks, boasting high flow and pressure capabilities to tackle even the toughest industrial challenges.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers a host of advantages for your operations.
Maintenance is a breeze with the long coupled configuration, allowing easy access to the pump head without the need to remove the motor, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Engineered for durability and constant use, this process pump features additional bearings installed within the pump head, drastically reducing operational strain on the motor for continuous performance.
The innovative back pull out design allows for swift and effortless motor removal while the pump remains connected to the pipework, significantly cutting down service and maintenance time.
Featuring independent shafts for both pump and motor, this design ensures that only the pump shaft needs replacement if broken, unlike other models that necessitate a full motor replacement, enhancing cost-effectiveness and ease of maintenance.
The strategic long coupled design creates ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor against fluid ingress during a seal failure, promoting longevity and reliability.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are engineered with precision, incorporating renowned brand bearings to deliver unparalleled performance. Designed for longevity, these pumps excel even in the most challenging and demanding environments.
To expertly counterbalance axial thrust, our impellers are crafted with wear rings strategically placed both in front and at the back, complemented by a balance hole on the rear shroud. In cases where axial thrust is minimal, the design efficiently omits the need for these components, ensuring smooth operation.
Our impellers are a testament to high-precision casting, guaranteeing optimal performance. Available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, they are engineered for reliability and strength.
Our system is categorized into two principal groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique injects a pristine, cooling liquid into the seal chamber, significantly enhancing the operational conditions. A secondary, downward-facing port serves as a critical point for leakage monitoring or venting, ensuring safety and efficiency.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - Here, a secondary fluid is introduced between two mechanical seals, effectively preventing ambient air from compromising the pumped fluid. This method not only improves seal cooling but also elevates safety standards.
It's important to note that many mechanical seals function without the necessity for additional external flush systems.
Versatile Couplings
Flexible couplings distinguish themselves from rigid counterparts by accommodating movement such as vibrations and thermal expansion. This adaptability makes them perfect for applications with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations significantly reduces operational noise. Despite the more intricate and costly design, the long-term benefits include reduced shaft and bearing damage, culminating in maintenance savings.
Shanghai Semhai's chemical pumps adhere to the esteemed API 671 Standard, employing superior Disc Couplings for unmatched performance.
Our pumps are equipped with couplings that exhibit lower reaction loads, offering superior balancing quality over traditional couplings. This ensures enhanced efficiency and efficacy in total pump power transmission, setting new standards in performance.
