The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, crafted to meet the rigorous standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858, is a versatile and reliable solution for a myriad of applications across industrial and marine markets. Engineered to handle low viscosity fluids, whether pristine or slightly contaminated, it is adept at managing substances free from solid or fibrous contaminants. It efficiently handles fresh water, sea water, and various fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its common applications span fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining operations, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and maritime activities, making it an indispensable tool for these sectors.
Presenting a robust and high-capacity centrifugal chemical process pump, this model is designed to meet the demands of high flow and pressure scenarios, perfectly suited for heavy-duty environments.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design is packed with numerous advantages, ensuring optimal performance and ease of use.
Enjoy unparalleled maintenance convenience with the long coupled configuration, allowing easy access to the pump head without needing to detach the motor, streamlining service operations.
Built to withstand continuous use, this process pump boasts a rugged design enhanced by additional bearings in the pump head, significantly reducing the operational strain on the motor, ensuring durability and reliability.
Thanks to the back pull-out design, the motor can be effortlessly removed while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, drastically reducing downtime during servicing and maintenance activities.
Featuring independent shafts for both the pump and motor, this design means that in the rare event of shaft breakage, you only need to replace the pump shaft, unlike less resilient models that require complete motor replacement.
The thoughtfully engineered long coupled design provides ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from potential fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, enhancing overall protection.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are meticulously crafted to include renowned brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability. These superior bearings contribute to an extended service life, even under demanding conditions, making them a trusted choice in challenging environments.
To effectively manage axial thrust, our advanced impeller design features strategically placed wear rings at both the front and back, along with a precision-engineered balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, these components are selectively omitted, showcasing our tailored engineering approach.
Crafted with the highest precision, our casting impellers guarantee optimal performance. Available in premium materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, these impellers are designed to deliver durability and efficiency.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - This involves injecting clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber to create a superior operating environment. A secondary, smaller port is strategically positioned downward, often serving as an effective leakage observation or vent opening, ensuring seamless performance.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" used with dual seals - This method introduces a secondary fluid between two sets of mechanical seals. It prevents ambient air from contacting the pumped fluid, enhancing seal cooling, and significantly boosting safety.
Noteworthy is the fact that not all mechanical seals demand specialized external flush arrangements, highlighting our pump's versatile and adaptable design.
Flexible Couplings
Our flexible couplings are engineered to accommodate movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing potential damage. These couplings are ideal for applications with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts, efficiently absorbing vibrations and reducing excessive noise. Despite a more complex and costly design, these couplings offer long-term maintenance savings by protecting shafts and bearings from damage and wear.
The Semhai API standard chemical pumps are enhanced with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
Engineered for lower reaction loads with superior balancing quality, these couplings outperform normal ones, delivering enhanced efficiency and effectiveness across the entire pump power transmission system.
