To achieve optimal axial thrust balance, our design incorporates wear rings positioned at the forefront and rear of most impellers, complemented by a balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, the need for a rear wear ring and balance hole is eliminated, streamlining design without compromising efficiency.
Our high-precision casting impellers guarantee unparalleled performance, crafted from premium materials like cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze.
We categorize our solutions into two primary segments:
1) "Flush" - This method involves the introduction of a clean, cooling liquid into the seal chamber, optimizing the operating environment. An additional, smaller port is strategically oriented downward, often utilized for leakage monitoring or as a venting point.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - This technique employs a secondary fluid circulated in the interspace between dual mechanical seals. Its purpose is to avert ambient air from mingling with the pumped fluid, enhance seal cooling, and elevate safety standards.
It's noteworthy that numerous mechanical seals function seamlessly without necessitating specific external flush systems.
Adaptable Couplings
In contrast to rigid couplings, flexible couplings are engineered to tolerate slight movements, such as vibrations and thermal expansions, without incurring damage. They are particularly advantageous in applications where some degree of misalignment between drive and pump shafts is unavoidable. Their vibration absorption capabilities also contribute to noise reduction during operations. Despite their intricate and costly design, flexible couplings offer substantial maintenance savings over time by safeguarding shafts and bearings from potential damage and early wear.
