Introducing the versatile and reliable SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, crafted to meet the rigorous standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This powerhouse is your go-to solution for a vast array of industrial and marine market applications. Engineered to effortlessly handle low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids without the intrusion of fibrous or solid particles, it's perfect for transporting fresh water, sea water, and various fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene. The SLZ pump is indispensable in operations like fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, and treatment, as well as in pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine environments.
This robust centrifugal chemical process pump is designed for high-demand situations, boasting impressive flow and pressure capabilities for large-scale operations.
Explore the myriad benefits of the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, which offers enhanced efficiency and reliability.
Maintenance is a breeze with the long coupled configuration, allowing easy access to the pump head without the need to detach the motor, ensuring reduced downtime.
Built for endurance, this process pump features a robust design with additional bearings in the pump head, minimizing motor strain significantly during continued operation.
The innovative back pull out design allows the motor to be seamlessly removed while keeping the pump connected to the piping, thus saving valuable maintenance time.
Our centrifugal chemical process pump and motor feature independent shafts, so if the pump shaft breaks, only the shaft needs replacement, unlike less durable alternatives where motor replacement is necessary.
The strategic long coupled design creates ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid intrusion should a seal failure occur, enhancing protection.

Our centrifugal pumps/chemical pumps are expertly crafted with top-tier, renowned brand Bearings that promise an extended service life, even under the most challenging working conditions. Experience the reliability and endurance of our products designed for harsh environments.
To expertly manage axial thrust, our design incorporates wear rings both at the front and rear of the impeller, complemented by a strategically placed balance hole on the back shroud of the impeller. For pumps where axial thrust is minimal, the design is efficiently streamlined without a rear wear ring and balance hole.
Our high-precision casting impeller, available in cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, assures superior performance and reliability. Trust our expert craftsmanship for unmatched quality.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - A method where a clean, cool liquid is meticulously injected into the seal chamber, optimizing the operational environment. A secondary, smaller port, usually oriented downward, serves as a crucial leakage observation or vent opening.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - This technique involves feeding a secondary fluid into the space between two mechanical seals, aimed at preventing ambient air from contacting the pumped fluid, thus enhancing seal cooling and bolstering safety.
Remarkably, not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush arrangements, offering flexibility in application.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, adeptly accommodate movements such as vibrations and thermal expansions without sustaining damage. Ideal for scenarios with some unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts, they also effectively reduce excessive operational noise. Although they feature a more complex and costly design, the long-term maintenance savings from protecting the shaft and bearings from damage and premature wear make them a worthy investment.
Shanghai Semhai Pump Co., Ltd. proudly incorporates API 671 Standard Disc Couplings in its API standard chemical pumps, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.
Our couplings are engineered with lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality, significantly enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the whole pump power transmission system.
