Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump, a masterpiece of engineering standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This versatile pump is tailored for a broad spectrum of industrial and marine applications, masterfully handling low viscosity clean or mildly contaminated fluids, free from solid or fibrous particles. Among its capabilities, it efficiently pumps fresh water, sea water, and fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its applications span across essential sectors like fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
This robust centrifugal chemical process pump is designed for demanding tasks, boasting high flow and high pressure capabilities to tackle the most challenging industrial requirements.
Discover the numerous advantages of the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, a true asset to any operation.
Maintenance has never been easier with the long coupled configuration, allowing direct access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal, ensuring seamless upkeep.
Built for endurance, this process pump features additional bearings in the pump head, expertly reducing motor strain during operation, ideal for continuous use.
The innovative back pull out design permits motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, significantly reducing downtime during maintenance or servicing.
With independent shafts for the pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement if damaged. This is a stark improvement over less robust pumps that necessitate an entire motor replacement when the shaft fails.
The long coupled design creates ample space between the pump and motor, effectively safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, enhancing its longevity.

Our centrifugal and chemical pump products are equipped with renowned brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability even in the most challenging environments. This leads to an extended service life, making them a reliable choice for any demanding application.
To achieve optimal balance of axial thrust, our design includes wear rings at both the front and back of the majority of the impellers, complemented by a balance hole strategically positioned on the back shroud of the impeller. In some pump models where the axial thrust is minimal, these components are intelligently omitted to streamline the design.
Crafted with high-precision casting, our impellers guarantee superior performance. Available in materials like cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, each impeller promises exceptional reliability and efficiency.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - A pristine, cool liquid is introduced into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. This setup includes a secondary, typically downward-facing port for monitoring leakage or serving as a vent.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" used with dual seals - This involves introducing a secondary fluid into the area between two mechanical seals. This system prevents ambient air from reaching the pumped fluid, boosts seal cooling, and heightens safety measures.
It is noteworthy that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush systems.
Flexible couplings
Unlike their rigid counterparts, flexible couplings are designed to accommodate movement such as vibrations and thermal expansion without sustaining damage. Ideal for situations with unavoidable shaft misalignment, they excel at reducing excessive noise by absorbing vibrations. This sophisticated design may be more costly, yet it offers long-term maintenance savings by safeguarding shafts and bearings from damage and premature wear.
Semhai API standard chemical pumps employ the robust API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings feature lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to normal couplings, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pump's power transmission.
