The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump is meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858, making it an exemplary choice for diverse applications across both industrial and marine sectors. This advanced equipment is engineered to handle low viscosity fluids that are clean or only slightly contaminated, ensuring versatility without the interference of solid or fibrous particles. Its robust capabilities extend to efficiently transporting fresh water, sea water, and various fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Widely used in fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy production, mining ventures, fire safety systems, irrigation projects, water distribution, treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering processes, and marine operations.
This substantial and resilient centrifugal chemical process pump is engineered for excellence, boasting impressive high flow and high-pressure capabilities to meet demanding industrial needs.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers an array of significant advantages that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
The long coupled configuration ensures effortless maintenance, providing easy access to the pump head without the need to dismantle the motor, thereby simplifying the servicing process.
Engineered for durability, this process pump is built to withstand continuous operation. The additional bearings in the pump head significantly reduce the operational strain on the motor, enhancing longevity and performance.
The innovative back pull out design permits the motor's removal while the pump remains connected to the pipework, greatly optimizing maintenance time and efficiency during servicing.
Featuring independent shafts for both the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, this design ensures only the pump shaft needs replacing in case of breakage, unlike less robust models that require full motor replacement.
The long coupled design creates a protective buffer space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from potential fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, thus ensuring continued operation.

Renowned for their unwavering reliability, our centrifugal and chemical pumps are equipped with esteemed brand bearings that guarantee an extended service life even amidst the most demanding environments. Experience the pinnacle of durability and performance with our meticulously engineered pumps.
To masterfully manage axial thrust, our pumps are designed with precision featuring wear rings both at the front and rear of most impellers. Additionally, a balance hole is strategically positioned on the back shroud, optimizing thrust balance. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, a streamlined design omits the rear wear ring and balance hole, achieving peak efficiency.
Crafted with high-precision casting, our impellers promise exceptional performance. Available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, each impeller is engineered to deliver unmatched reliability and effectiveness.
Our offerings are distinguished into two primary groups:
1) "Flush" - A pristine, cool liquid is introduced into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. An additional smaller port, typically oriented downward, serves as a leakage detector or vent, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - A secondary fluid is meticulously channeled into the space between two mechanical seals, safeguarding the pumped fluid from ambient air, optimizing seal cooling, and elevating safety standards.
It is important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush configurations, underscoring the versatility and efficiency of our designs.
Flexible Couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, adeptly accommodate motion such as vibrations and thermal expansion without incurring harm. This makes them quintessential for scenarios where slight misalignment between drive and pump shafts is inevitable. Not only do they excel at absorbing vibrations, thus diminishing operational noise, but they also lead to reduced maintenance costs over time due to their protective attributes against shaft and bearing damage.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps are enhanced with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings for superior compatibility and performance.
Boasting lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, our design ensures heightened efficiency and effectiveness in the entire pump power transmission process.
