The SLZ end suction, long-coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump exudes excellence by adhering to the stringent standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858. Ideally suited for an expansive array of industrial and marine applications, this pump is the epitome of versatility. It masterfully handles low viscosity fluids, whether clean or slightly impaired by minor contaminants. Its prowess extends to efficiently pumping essential fluids such as fresh water, sea water, and various fuels, including diesel, petrol, and kerosene. The pump is indispensable in applications like fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining operations, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurisation, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Introducing the robust and reliable large, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, engineered for superior performance with high flow and high-pressure capabilities.
Experience the unparalleled advantages of the long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, engineered for optimal performance and efficiency.
Maintenance is a breeze with the long-coupled configuration, offering effortless access to the pump head without necessitating motor removal.
Exemplifying durability and resilience, this process pump is crafted for persistent operation. The integration of additional bearings within the pump head significantly reduces motor stress during use.
The innovative back pull-out design facilitates motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, enhancing time efficiency during service and maintenance.
With independent shafts for the pump and motor, replacing only the pump shaft is necessary in case of a breakage, contrasting with inferior chemical process pumps that require entire motor replacement.
The long-coupled design provides substantial spacing between the pump and motor, effectively shielding the motor from potential fluid ingress due to seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps feature renowned brand bearings, promising durability and exceptional service life even amidst the most demanding environments. These bearings are the heart of our pumps, ensuring long-lasting reliability.
To adeptly balance axial thrust, most of our impellers are equipped with wear rings both in the front and back, alongside a strategically placed balance hole on the impeller's back shroud. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, these components might not be necessary, providing design flexibility.
Our high-precision casting impellers are crafted to ensure optimal performance, available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, catering to various operational needs with exceptional engineering.
We categorize our offerings into two significant segments:
1) "Flush" - Here, a clean, cool liquid is precisely injected into the seal chamber to optimize the operational environment. An additional, smaller port, typically positioned downward, serves as a leakage observation or vent opening, providing crucial monitoring and safety.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - This innovative design introduces a secondary fluid between two mechanical seals, effectively preventing ambient air from compromising the pumped fluid. This system enhances seal cooling and elevates safety standards.
It is noteworthy that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush systems, allowing for simplification where applicable.
Versatile Couplings for Dynamic Applications
Flexible couplings stand apart from rigid ones by accommodating slight movements like vibrations and thermal expansion without sustaining damage. Perfect for scenarios with inevitable misalignment between the drive and pump shafts, these couplings excel at absorbing vibrations, which diminishes operating noise. While their design is intricate and comes at a higher cost, flexible couplings provide significant maintenance savings by safeguarding shafts and bearings from premature wear.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps incorporate the high-performing API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings boast reduced reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to regular couplings, resulting in enhanced efficiency and effectiveness throughout the entire pump power transmission process.
