Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, a marvel of engineering standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This pump is designed to excel across a broad spectrum of industrial and marine applications. Perfectly crafted for pumping low viscosity, clean, or slightly contaminated fluids, it seamlessly handles fresh water, seawater, and various fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Whether for fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining operations, firefighting, irrigation, water supply and treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, or marine applications, this pump is your reliable partner.
Introducing a formidable addition to your operations: this large, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, designed for high flow and high-pressure applications. Engineered for demanding environments, it ensures reliable performance with remarkable efficiency.
Discover the advantages of our long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, offering numerous benefits that enhance operational efficiency and maintenance simplicity.
Experience effortless maintenance with our long-coupled pump configuration. Accessing the pump head without removing the motor simplifies upkeep, making it an easy-to-maintain solution for your needs.
Built for robustness and endurance, this process pump is engineered for continuous operation. It features additional bearings in the pump head to alleviate motor strain, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Enjoy time-saving maintenance with the back pull-out design that permits motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework. This innovative feature streamlines servicing and minimizes downtime.
Our centrifugal chemical process pump boasts independent shafts for the pump and motor, ensuring that only the pump shaft requires replacement if broken. This is a distinct advantage over less robust pumps that use a single motor shaft, which necessitates full motor replacement upon breakage.
The long-coupled design provides ample space between the pump and motor, effectively shielding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, enhancing durability and reliability.

Our prestigious and renowned brand bearings are integrated within our state-of-the-art centrifugal pumps and chemical pumps. These bearings ensure a remarkably prolonged service life, even when the pumps operate under the most challenging and demanding conditions, ensuring reliability and excellence.
To expertly balance axial thrust, our pumps feature wear rings both at the front and rear of the majority of the impeller. Additionally, a balance hole is strategically located on the back shroud of the impeller. For pumps where the axial thrust is minimal, the design elegantly forgoes the need for a rear wear ring and balance hole, optimizing performance and efficiency.
The high-precision casting of our impeller guarantees superior performance. Available in materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, each impeller is crafted to perfection, ensuring durability and effectiveness in every application.
There are generally two distinguished main groups:
1) "Flush" - A clean, cool liquid is meticulously injected into the seal chamber to enhance the operational environment. An additional, smaller port, usually oriented downward, serves as a convenient leakage observation or vent opening, maintaining optimal conditions and performance.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" used with dual seals - This sophisticated system feeds a secondary fluid into the space between two sets of mechanical seals. This arrangement prevents ambient air from coming into contact with the pumped fluid, significantly improving seal cooling and enhancing overall operational safety.
It should be noted that not all mechanical seals necessitate special external flush arrangements, simplifying maintenance and operation in certain applications.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, are designed to accommodate movement, such as vibrations and thermal expansion, without incurring damage. This makes them ideally suited for situations where some degree of misalignment exists between the drive and pump shafts. Their vibration absorption capability also contributes to noise reduction. These advantages come with a more complex and costly design, yet they provide significant long-term maintenance savings by safeguarding shafts and bearings from damage and premature wear.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with the API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, setting a benchmark in precision and reliability.
These couplings offer reduced reaction loads with superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness in pump power transmission.
