The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump is meticulously standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858, making it ideal for a vast array of applications in industrial and marine sectors. This engineering marvel is crafted to handle low viscosity, clean, or slightly contaminated fluids, adeptly avoiding solid or fibrous material interference. Regularly tasked with transporting fresh water, sea water, and fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene, its versatility shines in applications like fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, handling grey water, dewatering, and in marine environments.
Offering robust performance, this large and heavy duty centrifugal chemical process pump boasts exceptional high flow and high pressure capabilities, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of industrial applications.
The innovative long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design delivers numerous advantages, providing efficiency, reliability, and ease of maintenance to users.
Renowned for its user-friendly maintenance, the long coupled configuration allows easy access to the pump head without motor removal, simplifying operational processes.
Engineered for durability and continuous operation, this robust process pump features additional bearings strategically integrated into the pump head, significantly reducing motor strain during operation.
The back pull out design is an ingenious feature that permits motor removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, offering substantial time savings during maintenance and servicing.
Distinctively designed with independent shafts for the pump and motor, this configuration ensures that only the pump shaft requires replacement should it break, unlike less resilient models that necessitate complete motor replacement.
Exemplifying the benefits of a long coupled design, this configuration establishes ample space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of seal failure.

Renowned for their reliability, our centrifugal and chemical pumps are equipped with prestigious brand bearings, ensuring an extended service life even in the most challenging environments.
To adeptly balance axial thrust, our pumps feature wear rings at both the forefront and rear of the impeller, complemented by a balance hole strategically placed on the back shroud. In some models, where axial thrust is not substantial, the back wear ring and balance hole are omitted, maintaining efficiency and precision.
Our high-precision casting impellers guarantee optimal performance, crafted meticulously from robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze.
Typically, there are two fundamental categories:
1) "Flush" - This method injects a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. A secondary, smaller port is often oriented downward for leakage observation or venting.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - This involves introducing a secondary fluid to the space between two mechanical seals, preventing ambient air contact with the pumped fluid. This enhances seal cooling and elevates safety measures.
It's important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate unique external flush setups.
Flexible couplings
Differing from rigid couplings, flexible couplings accommodate slight movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without incurring damage. This flexibility makes them ideal for scenarios with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their vibration absorption capabilities also reduce excessive operational noise. Despite their initially higher complexity and cost, flexible couplings offer long-term savings by safeguarding shafts and bearings from damage and premature wear.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps incorporate API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, setting a benchmark in performance.
These couplings deliver lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to traditional couplings, significantly boosting the efficiency and performance of the entire pump power transmission system.
