The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump is engineered to meet the rigorous standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858, a testament to its versatility and reliability across industrial and marine markets. Crafted for precision, it effortlessly handles low viscosity clean or mildly contaminated fluids, ensuring efficient operation free from solid particles or fibrous debris. This pump is adept at managing a diverse range of liquids, including fresh water, sea water, and various fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its adaptability shines in applications spanning fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy generation, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine environments.
This robust centrifugal chemical process pump, designed for high performance, boasts exceptional flow and pressure capabilities, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
The long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers a multitude of advantages that enhance operational efficiency and maintenance.
Thanks to its long coupled configuration, maintenance becomes a breeze as the pump head is easily accessible without the need to detach the motor.
Engineered for continuous and reliable performance, this process pump features additional bearings in the pump head, effectively reducing motor strain and enhancing durability.
Its innovative back pull out design allows for the motor's effortless removal while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, significantly reducing downtime during maintenance.
Featuring independent shafts for the pump and motor, this design ensures only the pump shaft needs replacement in case of breakage, unlike less robust models where the entire motor must be replaced.
The ample space provided by the long coupled design effectively safeguards the motor from fluid intrusion, even in the event of a seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are reinforced with renowned brand bearings, ensuring they withstand even the harshest environments with grace and reliability, promising an extended service life that surpasses expectations.
To expertly manage axial thrust, our innovative design employs dual wear rings positioned both in front and at the rear of most impellers, coupled with a strategically placed balance hole on the back shroud. For some pumps where axial thrust is minimal, a streamlined design without rear wear rings and balance hole is seamlessly integrated.
Our high-precision casting impeller is the epitome of performance excellence, crafted from premium materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, ensuring unrivaled reliability and function.
Our design philosophy is centered around two primary configurations:
1) "Flush" - A pristine, cool liquid is meticulously introduced into the seal chamber, enhancing the operational environment. A strategically placed second port, often oriented downward, serves as a vigilant observer for leakage or venting purposes.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - An auxiliary fluid is skillfully introduced between two mechanical seals, forming a protective shield against ambient air, optimizing seal cooling, and enhancing overall safety.
It is crucial to note that not every mechanical seal necessitates specialized external flush configurations.
Adaptable Connections: Flexible Couplings
Distinguished from rigid couplings, flexible couplings offer remarkable adaptability to movements such as vibrations and thermal expansions, making them indispensable for setups with unavoidable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their superior vibration absorption capabilities also help in significantly reducing operational noise. Although this sophisticated design may come at a premium, the long-term benefits of safeguarding shafts and bearings from damage and premature wear result in substantial maintenance savings.
The Semhai API chemical pumps integrate the API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, setting a benchmark for industry standards.
These couplings deliver lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, thus enhancing the entire power transmission efficiency and effectiveness of our pumps.
