The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump is a robust and versatile solution, standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards, making it ideal for a multitude of industrial and marine applications. Expertly crafted to handle low viscosity fluids—whether clean or slightly contaminated—this pump efficiently manages liquids free of solid or fibrous debris. Its adaptability shines across various fluids, from fresh water and sea water to fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Whether it's fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plant operations, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply enhancement, water treatment, pressurization, handling grey water, dewatering, or marine operations, this pump delivers powerful performance with precision.
This impressive centrifugal chemical process pump is engineered for demanding tasks, boasting high flow and high pressure capabilities to meet rigorous industrial needs with ease.
The innovative long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers a plethora of advantages, ensuring superior performance and reliability.
This long coupled configuration is designed for user-friendly maintenance, allowing easy access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Built for durability, this process pump is exceptionally robust and engineered for continuous, strenuous operation. Additional bearings in the pump head significantly reduce motor strain, enhancing its longevity and efficiency.
Thanks to its back pull-out design, the motor can be effortlessly detached while the pump remains connected to the pipework, significantly reducing downtime during servicing and maintenance.
With independent shafts for the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement upon breakage, unlike less robust alternatives that necessitate full motor replacement.
The long coupled design creates substantial space between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor against fluid ingress in the event of a seal failure, prolonging its lifespan.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps proudly incorporate renowned brand bearings, ensuring remarkable durability and extending the lifespan of our pumps, even when they operate in the most challenging environments.
To expertly manage axial thrust, most impellers feature dual wear rings positioned at the front and back, complemented by a balance hole on the impeller's rear shroud. However, for certain pumps where axial thrust remains low, the rear wear ring and balance hole are ingeniously omitted.
Our high-precision casting impellers, crafted from cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, guarantee exceptional performance and reliability.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - By injecting clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, the operating environment is significantly improved. An additional, smaller port is typically oriented downward, serving as a vital leakage observation or venting point.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - A secondary fluid circulates between dual mechanical seals, preventing ambient air contact with the pumped fluid, enhancing seal cooling, and boosting safety measures.
Notably, many mechanical seals function optimally without the need for external flush systems.
Flexible couplings
Unlike rigid counterparts, flexible couplings offer the ability to accommodate movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without sustaining damage. This adaptability makes them perfect for applications with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Moreover, they effectively absorb vibrations, contributing to reduced operational noise. While they may involve a more intricate and costly design, flexible couplings provide long-term maintenance savings by safeguarding the shaft and bearings from damage and premature wear.
Semhai's chemical pumps adhere to the API 671 Standard, featuring disc couplings that exemplify superior quality and performance.
These advanced couplings deliver lower reaction loads with superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pump's power transmission.
