Introducing the SLZ End Suction Centrifugal Chemical Process Pump, an engineering marvel that is standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858, making it a versatile powerhouse in the industrial and marine sectors. It is specifically crafted to efficiently handle low viscosity, clean, or slightly contaminated liquids, free from solid or fibrous impurities. From fresh and sea water to diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump is your go-to solution for fuel transfer, chemical processes, energy plants, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine applications.
Experience the might of our large, heavy-duty Centrifugal Chemical Process Pump, designed for applications demanding high flow and pressure capabilities. This robust piece of engineering is perfect for enduring demanding industrial environments.
Embrace the advantages of our long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, offering enhanced performance and reliability in diverse applications.
The innovative long-coupled configuration ensures effortless maintenance. Access the pump head conveniently without detaching the motor, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Engineered for consistent operation, this process pump is exceptionally resilient. Additional bearings within the pump head alleviate motor strain, ensuring prolonged durability and seamless functioning.
Our back pull-out design revolutionizes maintenance efficiency, allowing the motor to be detached while the pump remains connected to the pipework. This feature saves valuable time during service intervals.
Designed with independent shafts for the pump and motor, our centrifugal chemical process pump offers a significant advantage: replace only the pump shaft in case of breakage, unlike others that require entire motor replacement.
The long-coupled design ensures a substantial gap between the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress should a seal failure occur, thereby enhancing operational safety.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps proudly utilize renowned brand bearings, promising an extraordinary service life even amidst the most challenging environments. These high-quality bearings are a testament to our commitment to durability and reliability, ensuring our pumps excel in performance.
To adeptly balance axial thrust, most of our impellers feature strategically placed wear rings both at the front and rear, complemented by a balance hole on the back shroud. However, for pumps with minimal axial thrust, the rear wear ring and balance hole become optional, tailoring the design to specific operational needs.
Our high-precision casting impellers are a marvel of engineering, crafted from premium materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze. These materials guarantee exceptional performance and longevity, adhering to the highest standards of quality and precision.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - This method introduces a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, significantly enhancing the operating environment. It features a secondary, usually downward-facing port, which serves as an ideal leakage observation or vent opening, thereby optimizing seal performance.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" used with dual seals - Here, a secondary fluid plays a vital role in the space between two mechanical seals. It effectively prevents ambient air from reaching the pumped fluid, enhances seal cooling, and elevates safety levels, making it indispensable for demanding applications.
Notably, not all mechanical seals necessitate special external flush arrangements, allowing for versatility in application and design simplicity.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings offer unmatched adaptability over their rigid counterparts, accommodating movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion effortlessly. They are perfect for applications with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts, reducing noise and prolonging component life. Though their design is more intricate and costly, the long-term maintenance savings and the protection they offer to shafts and bearings against damage and premature wear are invaluable.
Semhai adheres to the highest standards, employing API 671 Standard Disc Couplings in our API chemical pumps, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Our couplings are designed to exhibit lower reaction loads, superior balancing quality, and enhanced efficiency, elevating the entire pump power transmission to new heights of effectiveness.
