The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump is expertly standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858, making it a versatile powerhouse for a broad spectrum of applications across industrial and marine markets. Engineered to perfection, it's designed to handle low viscosity, clean, or slightly contaminated fluids, skillfully avoiding fibrous or solid particles. Whether it's fresh water, sea water, or fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump shines in scenarios such as fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Embodying robust engineering, this large centrifugal chemical process pump excels with high flow and pressure capabilities, tailored for heavy-duty applications.
The smartly designed long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump offers an array of advantages for diverse operational needs.
Designed for user-friendly maintenance, the long coupled configuration allows easy access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Built for endurance, this process pump features a robust design for continuous operation, incorporating additional bearings in the pump head. These bearings significantly reduce the operational strain on the motor, enhancing longevity.
Ingenious in design, the back pull-out configuration allows motor removal while maintaining pipework connection, dramatically reducing downtime during service or maintenance.
With independent shafts for the pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement if broken, unlike less robust models that necessitate entire motor replacement upon shaft failure.
The long coupled design ingeniously provides ample space between pump and motor, effectively shielding the motor from potential fluid ingress if a seal fails.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are engineered with renowned brand bearings, ensuring remarkable durability and performance longevity, even under the most challenging conditions.
To adeptly balance axial thrust, our ingenious design incorporates both front and rear wear rings on most impellers, complemented by a balance hole strategically positioned on the back shroud. In certain pumps where the axial thrust is minimal, the absence of rear wear rings and a balance hole is a testament to our tailored engineering strategy.
The high-precision casting of our impellers guarantees unmatched performance, available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, ensuring reliability and excellence.
Our mechanical seals are classified into two primary groups:
1) "Flush" - This method involves injecting clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, optimizing the operational environment. A secondary, typically downward-oriented port, functions as a leakage observation or venting conduit.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - A supplementary fluid is introduced between two mechanical seals sets, effectively preventing ambient air intrusion, enhancing seal cooling, and elevating safety standards.
It's noteworthy that not all mechanical seals necessitate external flush arrangements, reflecting their versatile design adaptability.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings, distinct from rigid variants, adeptly accommodate movements like vibrations and thermal expansion, making them ideal for scenarios with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations significantly reduces operational noise. While they boast a sophisticated and costly design, the long-term maintenance savings, achieved through protection against shaft and bearing damage, are substantial.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings feature superior balance quality with reduced reaction loads, boosting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of pump power transmission beyond conventional couplings.
