Introducing the SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump, engineered to meet EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards. This versatile performer is perfectly suited for diverse industrial and marine applications. Designed to effortlessly handle low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, it excels without the hassle of fibrous or solid obstructions. Whether you need to transport fresh water, sea water, or fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump has got you covered. Its broad application range encompasses fuel transfer, chemical processes, energy plants, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, water treatment, pressurization, gray water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
Experience the robust performance of a large, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, boasting exceptional high flow and high-pressure capabilities.
Discover the multitude of advantages inherent in the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design.
Maintenance has never been easier with the long coupled configuration, offering convenient access to the pump head without the hassle of motor removal.
Built for endurance, this process pump is robustly engineered for continuous operation, featuring additional bearings in the pump head that significantly reduce motor strain during operation.
With the back pull-out design, the motor can be effortlessly removed while keeping the pump connected to the pipework, saving valuable time during servicing and maintenance.
Benefit from independent shafts for the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, ensuring that only the pump shaft needs replacement if it breaks. In contrast, less robust pumps that rely solely on the motor shaft may require full motor replacement.
The long coupled design offers superior protection for the motor by ensuring a substantial gap between it and the pump, safeguarding against fluid ingress in the event of seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are renowned for their use of prestigious brand bearings, ensuring extended durability and exceptional performance even in the most demanding environments. Expect longevity and reliability with every Semhai pump.
To expertly balance axial thrust, our impellers are equipped with strategically placed wear rings both in the front and back. Additionally, a balance hole is meticulously designed into the back shroud of the impeller. For pumps where axial thrust is minimal, the design smartly omits the rear wear ring and balance hole, maintaining efficiency without compromise.
Crafted with high-precision casting, our impellers guarantee top-tier performance, available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, offering you quality that lasts.
Our seal chamber solutions are categorized into two distinctive and effective groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique involves injecting a clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber to optimize the operating environment. A secondary, strategically-oriented port, typically downward, serves as a leakage observation or vent opening, enhancing the system's efficiency.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - This method introduces a secondary fluid into the space between two sets of mechanical seals. It functions as a barrier to prevent ambient air from contacting the pumped fluid, significantly improving seal cooling and ensuring enhanced safety.
Notably, not every mechanical seal demands a specialized external flush arrangement, showcasing the adaptability and efficiency of our designs.
Flexible Couplings
In contrast to rigid couplings, our flexible couplings adeptly handle movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without sustaining damage. This adaptability makes them perfect for situations with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts. Their ability to absorb vibrations effectively also contributes to noise reduction during operation. While their design is more intricate and costly, the long-term maintenance savings from protecting shafts and bearings from wear and damage make them a wise investment.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with the industry-standard API 671 Disc Couplings, ensuring the highest level of reliability and performance.
These couplings offer superior balancing quality with reduced reaction loads compared to standard couplings, ensuring enhanced efficiency and effectiveness across the entire pump power transmission system.
