Discover the unparalleled SLZ end suction, long coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump that stands as a hallmark of excellence, proudly standardized to EN 22858 / ISO 2858. This versatile powerhouse finds its home in the heart of industrial and marine markets, where it performs with precision and reliability. Whether tasked with the smooth transfer of low viscosity clean or gently contaminated fluids void of solid or fibrous matter, this pump rises to the occasion. Common fluids that flow through its robust design include fresh water, sea water, and an array of fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its applications are as diverse as they are essential, encompassing fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plant operations, mining endeavors, fire fighting, irrigation systems, water supply and treatment, pressurization tasks, grey water management, dewatering projects, and marine applications.
Introducing a large-scale, heavy-duty centrifugal chemical process pump, engineered to deliver high flow and withstand high pressure, catering to the most demanding industrial requirements.
Experience the remarkable benefits of the long coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design, crafted to enhance efficiency and operational excellence.
Thanks to its ingenious long coupled configuration, maintaining the pump has never been easier, offering unparalleled access to the pump head without the need to detach the motor.
Engineered for resilience, this process pump is designed for continuous operation. It features additional bearings within the pump head, masterfully reducing the burden on the motor during every cycle.
The innovative back pull out design revolutionizes maintenance, allowing the motor to be detached effortlessly while keeping the pump connected to the existing pipework, significantly optimizing service times.
With independent shafts for the pump and motor, this centrifugal chemical process pump stands out. Only the pump shaft requires replacement if damaged, unlike less durable alternatives that necessitate complete motor replacement due to integrated shafts.
The thoughtfully devised long coupled design introduces ample space between the pump and motor, acting as a safeguard against fluid ingress in the event of a seal breach, thus extending motor longevity.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps boast the use of renowned brand bearings, significantly extending their service life, even when operating in challenging and harsh environments. This ensures unmatched reliability and durability.
To efficiently balance axial thrust, most impellers feature strategically placed wear rings at both the front and back, complemented by a balance hole on the back shroud. In instances where the axial thrust is minimal, the design excludes the rear wear ring and balance hole, optimizing performance effortlessly.
Our high-precision casting impellers, available in cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, guarantee exceptional performance and reliability. This precision ensures that your pumps maintain top efficiency and longevity.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - This involves injecting clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, enhancing the operating environment. A secondary, smaller port, usually oriented downward, serves as a leakage observation or vent opening, promoting optimal performance.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" with dual seals - Here, a secondary fluid is introduced between two sets of mechanical seals. This setup prevents ambient air contact with the pumped fluid, improves seal cooling, and bolsters operational safety.
It's important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush arrangements, offering flexibility in design and application.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings excel over rigid ones by accommodating movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without sustaining damage. Perfect for applications with inevitable misalignment between drive and pump shafts, they also reduce excessive noise. Although more complex and costly in design, they protect the shaft and bearings from damage and premature wear, leading to substantial maintenance savings over time.
At Semhai, our API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
These couplings offer lower reaction loads with superior balancing quality compared to typical couplings, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the entire pump power transmission.
