Introducing the SLZ end suction, long-coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump! Crafted to meet the stringent standards of EN 22858 / ISO 2858, this marvel caters to a diverse array of applications across industrial and marine markets. This pump is engineered to handle low viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids, devoid of solid or fibrous content. It effortlessly manages common liquids like fresh and sea water, as well as fuels such as diesel, petrol, and kerosene. The SLZ pump shines in applications like fuel transfer, chemical processing, energy plants, mining, fire fighting, irrigation, water supply, treatment, pressurization, grey water treatment, dewatering, and marine uses.
Standing as a titan in its class, this centrifugal chemical process pump is a robust, heavy-duty powerhouse, boasting high flow and pressure capabilities that make it second to none.
The strategic long-coupled design of this centrifugal chemical process pump brings numerous advantages that elevate performance and reliability.
Ease of maintenance is a hallmark of the long-coupled configuration, allowing seamless access to the pump head without necessitating motor removal.
Engineered for endurance, this process pump is fortified for continuous operation. Additional bearings in the pump head effectively diminish motor strain during function.
Thanks to its back pull-out design, servicing is a breeze as the motor can be detached while the pump remains connected to the pipework, significantly conserving time.
With independent shafts for the centrifugal chemical process pump and motor, only the pump shaft requires replacement should it fail, unlike lesser models where a motor shaft failure mandates total motor replacement.
The long-coupled design introduces ample space between pump and motor, shielding the motor from fluid ingress in the event of seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are renowned for incorporating premium brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability even in the most challenging environments. Expect a prolonged service life from our pumps, meticulously crafted to withstand tough conditions.
To expertly balance axial thrust, our pumps feature meticulously designed wear rings both at the front and back of most impellers. The balance hole, strategically positioned on the back shroud, plays a crucial role. In pumps where axial thrust is minimal, these components are ingeniously omitted to enhance efficiency.
The high-precision casting of our impellers guarantees superior performance. Crafted from materials like cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, each impeller is engineered to meet the highest standards of quality and resilience.
There are generally two main groups:
1) "Flush" - A technique where clean, cool liquid is skillfully introduced into the seal chamber to optimize the operating conditions. An additional smaller port, typically downward-facing, serves dual purposes: leakage monitoring and venting.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - This involves supplying a secondary fluid to the inter-seal space, effectively preventing ambient air intrusion into the pumped fluid. This not only enhances cooling but also significantly boosts safety.
It's noteworthy that not all mechanical seals necessitate special external flush arrangements, offering flexibility and efficiency in various applications.
Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, are designed to gracefully accommodate movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion. Ideal for scenarios with inevitable misalignment, these couplings absorb vibrations effectively, reducing operational noise. Despite a more intricate and costly design, they offer long-term savings by preventing damage and premature wear to shafts and bearings.
Semhai's chemical pumps adhere to API standards, utilizing the advanced API 671 Standard Disc Couplings for superior performance.
These couplings stand out with lower reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, significantly boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire pump power transmission system.
