The SLZ end suction, long coupled, single stage centrifugal chemical process pump exemplifies precision engineering, adhering to EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards. This versatile powerhouse is your go-to solution for a diverse range of industrial and marine applications. Its robust design effortlessly handles low-viscosity clean or slightly contaminated fluids without solid or fibrous particles. Whether you're dealing with fresh water, sea water, or fuels like diesel, petrol, and kerosene, this pump proves indispensable. Common uses include fuel transfer, chemical processing, power plants, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply and treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine operations.
This is a formidable centrifugal chemical process pump, crafted for large-scale operations. Its impressive high flow and high pressure capabilities make it the ideal choice for demanding environments.
The innovative long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design offers numerous advantages that optimize performance and maintenance.
Enjoy user-friendly maintenance with the long coupled configuration, providing easy access to the pump head without the need to detach the motor.
Engineered for reliability, this robust process pump is built for continuous operation. The inclusion of additional bearings in the pump head significantly reduces strain on the motor during use.
Benefit from the back pull out design, allowing the motor to be conveniently removed while the pump remains connected to the pipework—streamlining service and maintenance procedures.
Unlike other less durable options on the market, our centrifugal chemical process pump and motor feature independent shafts. This means only the pump shaft requires replacement if broken, sparing you the cost of replacing the entire motor.
The long-coupled design strategically spaces the pump and motor, safeguarding the motor from fluid ingress in the unlikely event of a seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are equipped with renowned, top-tier brand bearings, promising exceptional durability and outstanding performance, even amidst the most challenging operational environments.
To expertly balance axial thrust, most impellers feature strategically placed wear rings at both the front and back. Additionally, a balance hole graces the back shroud of the impeller, ensuring optimal functionality. For pumps with minimal axial thrust, these components may be unnecessary, showcasing a tailored approach to efficiency.
Our impellers boast high-precision casting to guarantee impeccable performance. Available in robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze, they embody strength and reliability.
We classify our approaches into two distinct main groups:
1) "Flush" - This technique involves injecting clean, cool liquid into the seal chamber, dramatically enhancing the operating conditions. An auxiliary, smaller port, typically positioned downward, serves as an observation or vent for potential leakages, ensuring seamless operation.
2) "Barrier or Buffer" for dual seals - A secondary fluid is introduced between two sets of mechanical seals, effectively shielding the pumped fluid from ambient air exposure, optimizing seal cooling, and boosting safety standards.
It is important to note that not all mechanical seals mandate special external flush arrangements, providing flexibility in design and application.
Advanced Flexible Couplings
Flexible couplings, in contrast to their rigid counterparts, adeptly accommodate various movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing potential damage. Ideal for scenarios with unavoidable misalignment, they significantly dampen vibrations, thereby reducing operating noise. Although their sophisticated design may incur higher initial costs, these couplings safeguard the shaft and bearings, ultimately offering substantial maintenance savings over time.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps come equipped with premium API 671 Standard Disc Couplings, ensuring superior performance and reliability.
These couplings boast reduced reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to standard couplings, amplifying efficiency and effectiveness across the entire pump power transmission system.
