Presenting the SLZ end suction, long-coupled, single-stage centrifugal chemical process pump, meticulously standardized to the globally recognized EN 22858 / ISO 2858 standards. This powerhouse pump caters to a multitude of applications within the industrial and marine sectors. Expertly engineered to handle low-viscosity clean or slightly contaminated liquids, devoid of solid or fibrous contaminants, it excels in pumping a variety of fluids such as fresh water, sea water, and an array of fuels including diesel, petrol, and kerosene. Its versatility shines in applications ranging from fuel transfer and chemical processing to energy plant operations, mining, firefighting, irrigation, water supply, treatment, pressurization, grey water management, dewatering, and marine endeavors.
This formidable centrifugal chemical process pump is designed for heavy-duty applications, boasting impressive high flow and high pressure capabilities.
The long-coupled centrifugal chemical process pump design is packed with numerous advantageous features.
Thanks to its long-coupled configuration, maintenance becomes a breeze, allowing easy access to the pump head without the need to detach the motor.
Engineered for endurance, this process pump is robust, tailored for continuous operation. Its design incorporates additional bearings in the pump head, significantly reducing the strain on the motor during active usage.
The innovative back pull-out design permits the motor's removal while the pump remains connected to the pipework, translating into significant time savings during maintenance or servicing.
Featuring independent shafts for both the pump and motor, this design ensures that only the pump shaft requires replacement in case of breakage, unlike less robust models that necessitate motor replacement when the shaft fails.
The long-coupled design provides ample space between the pump and motor, effectively shielding the motor from fluid intrusion in the event of seal failure.

Our centrifugal and chemical pumps are equipped with renowned brand bearings, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability. These pumps are engineered to thrive, even in the most demanding conditions, promising an extended lifespan.
To effectively manage axial thrust, our impeller designs feature wear rings at both the front and rear, complemented by a strategically positioned balance hole on the back shroud. In instances where axial thrust is minimal, the rear wear ring and balance hole are omitted, optimizing efficiency.
Crafted through high-precision casting, our impellers guarantee superior performance, available in premium materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, and bronze.
Typically, two principal categories are defined:
1) “Flush” - This involves injecting a pristine, cool liquid into the seal chamber to enhance operational conditions. A secondary, smaller port, usually positioned downward, facilitates leakage monitoring or functions as a vent.
2) “Barrier or Buffer” for dual seals - A secondary fluid is introduced between two mechanical seals, effectively isolating the pumped fluid from ambient air, boosting seal cooling, and elevating safety standards.
It's important to note that not all mechanical seals necessitate specialized external flush systems.
Adaptable Couplings
Flexible couplings, unlike their rigid counterparts, adeptly handle movements such as vibrations and thermal expansion without incurring damage. They are perfect for situations with unavoidable misalignments between drive and pump shafts. These couplings excel in absorbing vibrations, thereby minimizing excessive noise while offering a more sophisticated design. Despite their complexity and cost, the long-term maintenance savings due to protection against shaft and bearing damage are significant.
Our Semhai API standard chemical pumps are equipped with API 671 Standard Disc Couplings.
These couplings boast reduced reaction loads and superior balancing quality compared to conventional couplings, thus enhancing the pump's overall power transmission efficiency and performance.
